At R-Blades Movement, we outright refuse to accept that the manual razor (rechargeable or disposable) is inevitable.
We believe that the next great leap forward of the humanity will not come solely from new technologies ; it will come from a new relationship with the objects that we use every day.
Our mission, therefore, is to launch a global regeneration movement. We are starting with a simple object: the manual razor.
Every year, billions of manual razors are worldwide manufactured, transported, and consumed. Behind each of these razors lie extracted raw materials, consumed energy, and carbon emitted into the atmosphere.
We see an opportunity where the world sees only the waste
We see the possibility of transforming each regenerated razor into a concrete action of decarbonisation. Our ambition is not to build a shaving company, but rather to build the infrastructure for the everyday regeneration of manual razors for the consumers.
We want to demonstrate that it is possible to draw a distinguishing line between a normal quality of life from excessive consumption. But how? It is realizable by making regeneration a cultural practice adopted by millions of people. To do this, we have created a system where extending the useful life of a manual razor becomes simple, economical, and more rewarding than replacing it after just one shaving cycle.
We envision a future where each manual razor has multiple life cycles ; a future where manual razor users become agents of the climate change. Nothing less !
