Free services have a cost. Think about it for a moment… here's the indisputable proof.
Behind every gift to or from a friend, a store, or your government, there is a payer or payers. Agreed or not ?
At least, one or more people put time, sweat, heart, and intelligence into it. That gift costs materials, electricity, and undoubtedly the waste that is generated. Free gifts therefore come at a cost, often much higher than imagined. Yes, that is what I mean !
R-Blades movement is not an exception. It has made the R-Blades technology process available to you, free of charge, via the R-Blades Report, available online. Now there is the R-Blades Live Workshop and other participatory events you will be hearing about in due course.
That's normal. Because it's our decarbonization mission that allows us to offer you a real, concrete way to reduce your carbon footprint. And at the same time, save $420/year in manual razor cartridge costs.
It is meant to help you be more enlightened, and to be able to contribute to your environment, and to benefit from it financially. Nothing less.
This gift - and so many of you thanking us for it - will cost several hundred thousand dollars, euros or pounds sterling each year in accommodation, equipment, salaries for existing professionals and our interns, remuneration for our Ambassadors, production and distribution costs for the R-Blades Show.
R-Blades movement firmly believes that the income from donations alone can replace the income from subscriptions. To reach this financial milestone, we have been reaching out to people who use a manual razor and want to make a real impact on global warming.
As a member, you can get involved by becoming an Ambassador (upcoming). As a donor, you can contribute to the financial support needed to keep the world below 1.5°C of global warming.
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has already sounded the "maximum alert".
